Traut-Season

Field hockey is off to Nationals, unfortunately without their Gail Wilson Outstanding Contributor Award Winner, Jen Foster, who had a bit of an unfortunate injury a week before Nationals. Jen, I know the girls will be playing for you.

Bears Football: PLAYOFFS - Playing Calgary this upcoming weekend. Hopefully this time we'll bring out the ass-whoopin' and run them over. Jean-Marc Jones was playing an awesome game!

Bears and Pandas Volleyball: ....a mighty fine sweep 3-0 both days against Thompson River. Honorable mention to Meggie Moir, Simon Lidster and Spencer Leiske. Both teams face Winnipeg this weekend.

Rugby: Oh ...wait..... our season is done. Still haven't gotten use to this feeling.

STEWART CUP: Bears cleaned up...thanks to the Pandas. Well down boys and girls - it was great to see you in PJ's and old school tights! Jamie Weikum and Cody Carver had a great run ;)

ACADEMIC ALL-CANADIAN BREAKFAST NOVEMBER 3rd:

- Congrats to all athletes who are smarter than me :)
- Congrats to Male and Female Academic All-Canadian of the Year; Brett Colvin from Bears Soccer (Good speech ps!) and Lindsey Bergevin (Somewhere in Europe??? We miss you!)

Basketball: Pandas and Bears down Lethbridge this passed weekend - good show boys and girls!
Bears played Gonzaga and got downed 94-53... mmmm.... Bears/Pandas face Winnipeg this upcoming weekend.

Pandas and Bears Hockey: Bears lose one to Manitoba 3-2 and wins 5-3 the second night. Goal scores were Jesse Gimblett (3), Reade WOlansky, Eric Hunger, Brian Woolger and Mark Ashton.
The girls had a successful weekend and won 7-0 both nights against Regina. Goal scorers: Meagan Cornelssen (2), Stephanie Ramsay (3), Katie Borbely (4), Sarah Hilworth (2), Tarin Podloski (2), and Leah Copeland.
